At Infinity, WE ARE MORE – now, come be more with us!\n\nJob Summary:\n\nThe Systems Engineer is responsible for performing Systems Engineering activities related to Information Technology or Engineering including: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system op. performance analysis, Lifecycle cost analysis estimation, decision analysis and physical configuration analysis (PCA). Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications. Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. From an information technology perspective, may be concerned with floor layout, power cooling, data storage, infrastructure management, backup, monitoring, operating systems, directory services, identity management, access management, and automation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nEnsures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.\nPerforms functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer/operational requirements into system hardware and software engineering specifications.\nProvides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity or capability requirements.\nManages large Agile or DevSecOps teams/projects, to include support to cost estimating, risk management, schedule development, and execution.\nDesigns, develops, delivers and deploys engineered solutions, following DoD Life Cycle engineering processes, and/or best practices.\n\nQualifications:\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.\nExperience: 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field\nClearance Requirement: Secret\nRequired Skills:\nStrong knowledge of system design, integration, and architecture\nExperience with a broad range of system types: custom developed HW/SW, COTS/GOTS HW/SW, and/or specialty engineering\nExperience with configuration and data management, hardware and software testing & evaluation of classified systems\nDemonstrates expertise in at least one engineering field: software, hardware, network, cybersecurity, test, systems\nExperienced problem-solver, creative thinker, with outcome-focused mindset\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience sustaining UEWR, PARCS, or other radar system such as PAVE PAWS, BMEWS, AN/TPY-2, COBRA DANE, LRDR, Aegis, etc.\nExperience in DoD systems engineering, Model-based Systems Engineering and related areas, to include managing teams/projects delivering solutions for missile warning or other national security space mission systems\nExperience working with large system of systems legacy architecture, upgrading/modernizing outdated technology and/or mitigating supportabilty risks with creative solutions\nAgile certification (SAFe, SCRUM, etc.)\nExperience with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, Cameo, or similar tools\n\nWork Environment/Physical Requirements:\n\nOffice environment with occasional on-site work in data centers or with hardware systems.\nMay require after-hours or weekend work to address critical system issues or deployments.\nSome travel may be necessary to support system installations or meet with stakeholders.\nAbility to work at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods.\nOccasional lifting of IT equipment or hardware components (up to 25 lbs).\n\nWork Schedule:\n\nThis is a full-time position, typically working 40 hours per week.
