And we have fun doing it: we believe great work happens when people enjoy working together.About The RoleAct Security is looking for an Event Manager to own the planning and execution of our events -from executive dinners and customer roundtables to industry conferences and trade shows. This is an operations-first role: you'll be responsible for making sure every event runs smoothly, on time, and on budget.Events are where relationships become partnerships. Your ability to execute flawlessly under pressure - managing every detail while keeping the big picture in mind - will directly contribute to Act's growth and market presence.You'll report to our CMO and work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and leadership to deliver events that strengthen relationships, drive business results, and position Act as a world-class company.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute corporate events including executive dinners, conferences, trade shows, and customer programsOwn event logistics end-to-end: venue selection, vendor coordination, travel, AV, catering, signage, and on-site setupManage event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and track costsBe present on-site to oversee execution and handle real-time problem-solvingCoordinate with Marketing and Sales to align events with business objectivesManage attendee registration, communications, and post-event follow-upExperience tracking event ROI and reporting on key metrics (attendance, pipeline sourced, cost-per-attendee) to inform future event strategy.RequirementsYou Must Have3–5 years of experience independently managing corporate events end-to-end, including budget ownership (conferences, executive dinners, trade shows, or similar)Background at a tech companyStrong project management skills - organized, deadline-driven, able to manage multiple work streamsExperience with vendor negotiations and budget managementBig-picture thinking - understanding how events ladder up to business goalsResourcefulness and creative problem -solving when plans changeWillingness to travel domestically and be on-site for eventsBased in the United States, EST timezoneNice To Have: Experience in cybersecurity or enterprise B2B softwareSalary range:$120K-$160K
