{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"0f23c19b01dfefeaf3e70d30","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0f23c19b01dfefeaf3e70d30","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0f23c19b01dfefeaf3e70d30","title":"Controls Analyst","description":"NEP is seeking a Revenue Controls Analyst to confirm that controls designed to prevent revenue leakage are implemented effectively, operating as intended, and supported by reliable evidence.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nMaintain the control register, including control owners, operating procedures and required evidence.\n\nDesign and execute testing programmes covering control design effectiveness and operating effectiveness.\n\nTest AI-enabled controls, including input completeness, rule changes, output review and audit trails.\n\nSample and assess overrides where quotes, invoices or commitments were released despite a control exception.\n\nTrack exceptions through resolution, report ageing items and identify root causes.\n\nConfirm remediation is implemented and operating effectively, rather than simply being promised.\n\nSupport control handovers, governance reporting and the wider internal control agenda.\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\n\nProfessional qualification or part-qualification in audit, accounting or internal control—such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CIMA or equivalent experience.\n\nThree to five years’ experience in internal audit, internal control, risk or control testing within a complex organization.\n\nPractical experience testing both control design and operating effectiveness and documenting results to a standard suitable for external review.\n\nWorking knowledge of process-level financial controls, ideally across order-to-cash activities.\n\nStrong data skills, including extracting, sampling, reconciling and interrogating system reports; advanced Excel skills are required.\n\nClear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to explain findings, root causes and recommended improvements to non-technical audiences.\n\nAbility to work independently across multiple business units and time zones while constructively challenging control owners and following remediation through to completion.\n\nNice to Have:\n\nExperience testing automated, system-based or IT general controls.\n\nExposure to continuous control monitoring, analytics-driven controls or AI-enabled processes.\n\nExperience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency international organization.\n\nFamiliarity with order-to-cash processes in a project- or job-based business, such as media, broadcast, engineering or construction.\n\nExperience with SOX or an equivalent formal control framework.\n\nYou might not know our name, but you’ve probably seen our work – on stage, on screen or on the field.
