You will join an established EMC engineering team and have the opportunity to help build and develop the company's wireless testing capability.This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can operate with a high degree of independence, troubleshoot effectively and take ownership of wireless testing projects.The RoleYou will be responsible for hands-on compliance testing of wireless and radio-enabled products, working across areas including:Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low EnergyWireless LAN / Wi-FiRF and radio compliance testingFCC requirements, including Part 90 and Part 80RF performance and compliance measurementsBench-level testing and troubleshootingBandwidth, power and related RF measurementsTest setup, execution, analysis and reportingSupporting customers through compliance and certification requirementsThe laboratory is also looking to expand its capabilities into cellular and satellite testing, including FCC Part 25 and relevant European satellite standards. This creates an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their technical expertise and play a role in developing a growing wireless function.About YouWe are looking for someone with:Several years of hands-on experience in wireless, RF or radio compliance testingStrong knowledge of wireless technologies and RF test methodsExperience working with relevant FCC and/or international wireless standardsPractical experience with Bluetooth, WLAN/Wi-Fi or similar wireless technologiesExperience with RF measurements including power, bandwidth and related parametersStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently and take ownership of projectsExperience within a TIC, testing laboratory or certification environment would be highly advantageousA senior-level engineer would be ideal.
