{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"0f097835179773bbe7c8e2a2","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0f097835179773bbe7c8e2a2","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0f097835179773bbe7c8e2a2","title":"Sr. Engineer (Packaging)","description":"Full Time Contract\nTitle or Role: Sr. Engineer (Packaging)\nLocation: Juncos, Puerto Rico, 100% on-site\nLength of Contract: Six (6) months+\n\nScope of Job\nRCM is looking for Packaging Equipment Qualification Sr. Engineers to support the implementation of new packaging lines in the facility.\n\nPosition Description:\nProvides direct support to the requirement, design, and qualification of packaging equipment as well as the installation/optimization strategies and/or troubleshooting of operational issues in the operations.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\nProvide advanced technical support to automatic packaging equipment and processes as to the installation/qualification and process development of the equipment functionality.\nSupport troubleshooting, investigations, root cause analysis related to the packaging area and inspection process.\nIdentify and implement initiatives in the packaging processes in order to reduce manufacturing operational costs while maintaining product quality.\nDesign / Development of Qualification Protocols.\nEstablish Testing Strategies.\nTechnical Reports Development.\nValidations, and technical reports- to support Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) executions, document generation and challenge validations strategies.\nPerform risk assessments to support activities.\nQualifications:\nBackground in medical devices (preferred) or drug products manufacturing environment.\nExperience in medical devices product assembly packaging is a plus.\nExperience in Change Control Development.\nInspection/packaging Concepts Knowledge.\nStrong knowledge of cGMPs regulations.\nGood skills writing general documentation in English and using MS Office applications.\nEducation & Certifications\nBS or higher in Engineering (excluding civil) with at least five years of experience in the life sciences industry.\nEqual Opportunity Statement\nRCM is an equal opportunity employer.
