We are committed to achieving excellence in Environmental, Health & Safety through our Mission Zero initiative.\n\nSenior EHS Specialist\nThe Senior EHS Specialist will serve as a key partner in driving the implementation, oversight, and continuous improvement of corporate EHS programs, policies, and initiatives across designated facilities. Acting as a coach, mentor, and change agent, this role will work collaboratively with facility teams to strengthen safety culture, ensure compliance, and reduce risks, supporting the company’s Mission Zero objectives. This is an opportunity to play a role in the design and implementation of world class EHS management systems as we work towards Mission Zero!\n\nJob Duties\n\nSupport the development and execution of corporate EHS programs, policies, procedures, and best practices to minimize risk and enhance safety performance.\n\nPartner with facility EHS leaders and operations teams, both individually and in groups, to develop and align internal programs with corporate standards.\n\nDevelop standardized training programs and serve as a certified trainer to empower facility teams with knowledge and skills.\n\nDrive continuous improvement of systems to promote compliance, education, and a culture of safety excellence.\n\nServe as a coach and mentor to leadership and the EHS Steering Team, fostering motivation and commitment to achieving company-wide safety initiatives.\n\nAct as a change agent to advance process improvements and foster a proactive safety culture.\n\nMaintain comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 guidelines.\n\nAssist facilities in implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.\n\nPursue continued education and certifications to remain a knowledgeable and credible EHS resource.\n\nProvide day‑to‑day EHS support to designated facilities, partnering with site EHS leaders and operations teams.\n\nLead safety improvement teams and mentor staff on continuous improvement projects.\n\nOversee industrial hygiene programs, including data analysis, corrective actions, and sampling plans.\n\nDeliver presentations to internal teams on metrics, project progress, and research findings.\n\nDirect the implementation of company safety programs and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.\n\nInvestigate incidents and near‑misses, recommend corrective actions, and track progress to closure.\n\nConduct EHS audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of site safety concerns.\n\nOversee the control and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in compliance with regulations.\n\nProvide EHS support across all shifts, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.\n\nTravel Support: Dedicate 5% travel to provide hands‑on support to facilities and attend EHS Team Annual Conferences.\n\nExperience and Education\n\nBachelors or Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or related field. Must be knowledgeable with OSHA and EPA regulations.\n\nAt least 5 years of experience in environmental, health & safety or related field within a lean manufacturing environment.\n\nSpecific experience as an EHS trainer, coach, and mentor.\n\nExperience in building a proactive EHS culture and create an environment where all employees are engaged in working safely with environmental consciousness.\n\nExperience in developing EHS management systems that follows ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 guidelines.
