Job OverviewAre you looking to join a large Dietetic Team within a large Teaching Hospital?We are pleased to advertise for a full time permanent Band 5 rotational position within our acute team at The Northern General Hospital.This post would be suitable for newly qualified Dietitians or existing Band 5 Dietitians looking to make a change.You would join a friendly specialised Acute Team consisting of Band 7 Specialist Acute Team Lead Dietitians, Band 6 Senior Dietitians, other Band 5 Rotational Dietitians and a Dietetic Apprentice. This is a busy but rewarding team to work in where you will gain significant experience across a wide range of clinical specialities.This is a rotational post based at The Northern General Hospital. Other rotations include; Weston Park Cancer Centre, Community and The Royal Hallamshire Hospital.We look forward to receiving your application.Main duties of the job To be responsible for the provision of a high-quality dietetic service to a clinical caseload in a designated area, using skills and knowledge as an independent practitioner. To contribute to the development and implementation of evidence based clinical and teaching practice. To work with their supervisor and Dietetic team leader in assisting in the operational management of the department. To assist the dietetic management team to ensure the overall service provides high quality patient care, and in the management of clinical governance, resources and equipment.
