As the organization continues to grow, this role offers a clear path into future leadership opportunities.Position OverviewThe Project Manager provides overall leadership and accountability for commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a hands-on, results-driven leader who enjoys managing diverse, fast-paced projects and collaborating closely with executives to align with strategic goals.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Estimating during the preconstruction phaseInterpret construction plans and specifications accuratelyLead projects from start to finish, driving schedule, budget, and qualityMentor and guide junior project management staffBuild and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to support repeat work and future opportunitiesOversee subcontractor and vendor procurement, including buyout, scope review, contract writing, and insurance/bonding complianceResolve drawing conflicts and provide constructible solutionsManage submittals, RFIs, change orders, owner billings, timesheets, and monthly project reportsEnsure timely and accurate owner billings and subcontractor paymentsPrepare monthly cost projections and forecastsOversee project schedules and provide consistent progress updatesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projectsStrong understanding of building systems and construction methodsProven ability to manage projects independently from award through closeoutFinancially savvy with strong cost control and forecasting skillsA proactive leader who can hit the ground runningCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive, industry-leading salaryLucrative bonus program401(k) with company matchComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time offSupportive company culture with a strong emphasis on work-life balanceOur client is ready to hire immediately!
