Job Description & Responsibilities:

Qualifications
Current Peer Support Certification
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Minimum of 1 year working with the adult Mental Health/Substance Use population, preferably in a community setting
Responsibilities
Assist clients with self-determination and decision-making
Model recovery values, attitudes, beliefs, and personal action to encourage wellness
Teach and promote self-advocacy and wellness management
Provide linkage to community resources
Maintain and submit required documentation (treatment plans, WRAP, service notes, service authorization requests, etc.)
Build professional relationships with community agencies and referral sources to establish and maintain Spring Life as a resource for individuals desiring peer support recovery
Collaborate with Qualified Professional, Licensed Professional and members in identifying interventions aimed at helping members reach their goals as outlined in the treatment plan
Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

10 hour shift
4 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
Kinston, NC 28501: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
