The Process Technician will be responsible for the assembly process in assembly cells from set-up to testing.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nMonitors & trouble shoots electrical & mechanical equipment used in the assembly process to build Gear pumps, motors, and components\nProvide line support for the assembly cell and is the next level of escalation after the Team Coordinator for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality\nTroubleshooting daily issues and eliminating issues from recurring by giving others the tools to resolve the issues themselves, using visual aids, SOP's, training, etc.\nAssist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor\nAssists in the Implementation of new processes and process changes by gathering data, time studies, making observations about the process, and communicating ideas to improve results\nHelp design and implement manufacturing controls, such as Poka-Yokes on assembly lines\nLeads or assists on tactical implementation projects\nWorks closely with the Process Engineers, Maintenance, Controls, Calibration, as well as other support functions\nAssist Quality team and cover some Quality Tech responsibilities\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nMinimum of an AA degree or equivalent from Technical School; and or related experience on Danfoss products.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes, process aids, and poke yokes\nWorking knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)\nComputer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand, CAD modeling)\nFamiliarity with TPM and SMED techniques\nCustomer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits.\nAbility to read electric and hydraulic schematics, ability to understand complex hydraulic systems\nAbility to utilize diagnostic equipment (e.g., measurement devices for current, pressure, flow, temperature, torque, etc.)\nExcellent safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements.\nAble to interact with all levels of organization (Shop floor to Management)\nWhat You'll Get from Us\n\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
