{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"0ec918f4bac8d0df335f8671","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0ec918f4bac8d0df335f8671","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0ec918f4bac8d0df335f8671","title":"Design Engineer","description":"Chipton-Ross is seeking a Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Littleton/Waterton, CO.\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)\n\nExperience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.\n\nExperience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.\n\nExperience interacting with peers, management and government customers.\n\nExperience in presentations and in written communication skills.\n\nMissile design experience.\n\n3+ years professional experience.\n\nExperience in digital circuit design at the card/board level schematic and analysis.\n\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a Circuit Design Engineer, you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art Avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.\n\nDesign/Capture electrical schematics and guide the PCB board layouts.\n\nPerform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.\n\nWork on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.\n\nResolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)\n\nExperience with a combination of design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.\n\nExperience in schematic capture using Xpedition or similar tools.\n\nExperience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tool experience.\n\nExperience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).\n\nExperience performing failure Investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).\n\nDemonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.\n\nDemonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.\n\nAdaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems.\n\nAble to work effectively in a diverse team environment.\n\nREQUIRED EDUCATION\n\nAccredited Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\n\nWORK HOURS\nFull-time;
