Small Package Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently while providing exceptional customer service. ** MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE** Duties - Safely operate a vehicle, such as a truck or van, to transport goods and packages to customers. - Follow a specific route to ensure timely delivery of goods and packages. - Load and unload goods and packages, which may involve heavy lifting. - Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times. - Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery. - Operate a forklift, if necessary, to load and unload goods and packages. - Drive a vehicle with a manual transmission. - Ensure that all goods and packages are delivered in a secure and safe manner. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may have arisen during delivery. - Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and customer service. Experience - Proven experience as a delivery driver with a valid commercial driver's license. - Experience operating a forklift and handling heavy lifting. - Excellent customer service skills. - Familiarity with route driving and navigating through busy areas. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours on the road. - Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission. Job Type: Contract Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per day Shift: Day shift Morning shift Work Days: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
