Head Bartender

New bar concept in Brooklyn looking for the best of the best. We’re looking for someone to build something great.Not just run a bar—but shape the identity of it. Someone who understands that a great neighborhood bar can also be a destination. That cocktails matter, but the room matters more. That people come back for how it feels, not just what’s in the glass. This role is for a Head Bartender who will be the face of our bar program—on the floor, behind the stick, and in the room.What You’ll Do Lead all aspects of the bar program—cocktails, wine, beer, and service Create and evolve a seasonal cocktail menu that feels intentional, not overworked Be a presence behind the bar —engaging, welcoming, and in control of the room Train and mentor the bar team—set the tone for hospitality and professionalism Work closely with ownership on concept, purchasing, and direction Maintain systems: inventory, ordering, prep, cost control Collaborate with the kitchen to create a cohesive guest experience Who You Are You can build a cocktail from scratch—but know when not to You care as much about how guests feel as what they drink You’ve led a team (or are ready to), and people want to work with you You’re organized, accountable, and don’t need to be micromanaged You can move fast, stay calm, and read a room You’re as comfortable talking to a regular as you are hosting industry folks You understand that a great bar is built on consistency, not ego What We’re Looking For Strong foundation in classic and modern cocktails Experience building or contributing to a cocktail program Leadership experience in a high-volume or high-quality environment Knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer (wine knowledge is a big plus) A point of view—but also the ability to collaborate What This Job Is (and Isn’t) This is: A chance to own something A place to build a following A role where your voice matters This is not: A “clock in, make drinks, clock out” job A place to overcomplicate things for the sake of it A solo act—you’ll be part of a team that supports you Compensation Competitive salary + tips Bonus potential based on performance Growth opportunities as the program expands (including equity)  How to Apply Send your resume and a short note about: A bar or program you admire A drink you love making (and why)
