About the RoleThe IT Lead QA Consultant will lead quality assurance efforts across application development initiatives, ensuring software solutions meet business requirements, performance expectations, and release standards. This role will work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to drive testing strategy, defect management, and overall delivery quality.ResponsibilitiesLead QA strategy and testing activities for ongoing application development projectsCreate and manage test plans, test cases, and test execution cyclesOversee functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testingTrack, document, and help resolve defects through the development lifecycleCollaborate with technical and business teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteriaSupport release readiness and quality reportingPromote QA best practices and continuous improvement across projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferredEquivalent professional experience may be considered in place of formal educationRequired SkillsExperience leading software quality assurance efforts in enterprise application environmentsStrong knowledge of test planning, test execution, and defect managementExperience supporting application development and system enhancementsAbility to work with cross-functional teams in Agile or similar delivery environmentsStrong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
