This role is focused on top-of-funnel pipeline creation and is critical to increasing outbound volume, improving speed-to-lead, and enabling our sales reps to focus on closing and advancing qualified opportunities.\nWhile reporting to the Director of Marketing, the SDR will partner closely with the New Business sales reps to generate qualified meetings through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and strategic lead re-engagement.\nThis role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and wants to build a strong foundation in B2B healthcare sales. Must be accustomed to maintaining a high-volume call environment and have experience navigating gatekeepers for enterprise-level sales success.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProspecting & Lead Generation\nProactively generate qualified sales meetings through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.\nExecute structured outbound campaigns targeting priority industries, accounts, and territories.\nFollow up on inbound leads, gated content, webinars, and marketing campaigns with urgency and personalization.\nRe-engage formant, recycled, or previously unresponsive leads to uncover new opportunities.\nQualify prospects using defined ICP criteria before handling off to sales reps.\nAttend occasional tradeshows to help manage lead traffic and engage attendees for meetings.\nSales Execution & Collaboration\nPartner closely with New Business reps to align outreach with territory priorities.\nSchedule high-quality discovery meetings and ensure proper context is captured for handoff.\nMaintain accurate lead and activity tracking in Salesforce.\nProvide feedback to Sales and Marketing on messaging, objections, and market trends.\nOperational Excellence\nMeet or exceed weekly activity metrics (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches).\nMaintain clean CRM hygiene, including lead status updates and detailed activity notes.\nParticipate in weekly pipeline, performance, and coaching reviews.\nContinuously refine outreach messaging and sequencing based on performance data.\nSuccess Metrics\nQualified meetings booked and held per week/month.\nPipeline generated (sourced or influenced).\nConversion rates( lead meeting opportunity).\nSpeed-to-lead for inbound inquiries.\nEducation and Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\n1-3 years experience in sales development, business development, or outbound prospecting required.\nFamiliarity with tools like ZoomInfo, Outreach.io, ChiliPiper, Salesforce (or other CRMs), and LinkedIn.\nExperience supporting SMB, Mid-Market, or Enterprise sales teams preferred.\nSkills and Competencies\nStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.\nComfort with high-volume outbound activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn).\nPositive attitude and self-motivated for success.\nUnderstanding of how to reach decision-makers by navigating gatekeepers.\nCoachable, resilient, and motivated by goals and metrics.\nMust be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality.\nStrong critical thinking skills; problem solving, and decision making.\nMust have the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, with attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to create and edit written materials.\nAbility to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.\nSkill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.\nDemonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors and clients.\nStrong time management, organizational, and follow-through skills.\nAbility to meet and exceed daily and weekly individual performance goals.\nAbility to work independently as well as assisting other team members when needed.\nRequires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.\nComputer Skills\nMust be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.\nPhysical Demands\nRequires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.\nSome bending and stretching could be required.\nWorking under stress and use of computer/phone required.\nManual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.\nOccasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.\nMay occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.\nWork Environment\nWork Environment must be free from background noise and distraction, noise level is acceptable, temperature is controlled.
