This critical role serves as the senior financial leader for the organization, overseeing all accounting functions, inventory management, and human resources. This role works closely with executive leadership and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, visibility into job costing, strong internal controls, and insightful profitability analysis. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to the Senior Accounting Manager and Director of Human Resources. Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements in a format acceptable to leadership within 10 days of month-end. Deliver monthly management discussion and analysis explaining significant financial variances and overall business performance. Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with the Percentage of Completion method. Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts covering at least a four-week period. Establish and maintain internal accounting controls over material receipts and issues. Implement, enhance, and monitor inventory control systems and related processes. Ensure inventory counts are reconciled to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies promptly. Develop controls, policies, and procedures to reduce unallocated materials. Develop and maintain warranty reserve methodologies. Establish controls over fleet management and asset safeguarding. Review financing rates and terms to help ensure competitive customer offerings. Lead job cost audit meetings and conduct profitability analysis to identify margin erosion and recommend corrective actions. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in accounting and finance management. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, job costing, cash flow forecasting, and inventory management. Experience with revenue recognition, including Percentage of Completion accounting. Ability to analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and communicate recommendations to leadership. Demonstrated ability to develop processes, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
