Licenses:\n❖ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering\n❖ Professional Engineer License in the State of Florida\nExperience:\n❖ Minimum 4 years in new construction design and/or analysis of residential and commercial structures\nRequired Skills:\n❖ Excellent oral and written communication\n❖ Excellent time management\n❖ Ability to perform calculations for design and analysis of residential and commercial projects\n❖ Ability to read construction documents\n❖ A working knowledge of structural materials and design: o Wood Design o Masonry Design o Concrete Design o Steel Design o Foundation Design o Wind Design\n❖ Ability to climb ladders, crawl in attics and crawl spaces, walk on roofs\n❖ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)\n❖ Understanding of AutoCAD\n❖ Building code analysis and interpretation\n❖ Organizational Skills\n❖ Attention to Detail\nGeneral Duties:\n❖ Assemble structural drawings, repair drawings and specifications for permitting / construction\n❖ Perform analysis of existing structures and design of new construction\n❖ Solve problems arising during projects\n❖ Manage and lead others to complete client projects\n❖ Responsible for development of client relationships\n❖ Assisting with new client prospects/proposals\n❖ Review project submittals and shop drawings\n❖ Initial invoice preparation\n❖ Scheduling of jobs\n❖ Must be able to attend meetings and make job site visits\n❖ Customer Relations\n❖ Maintain project files and data bases\n❖ Inspections, including but not limited to Roofs, Crawl Spaces, and Attics.\nBenefits:\n❖ Salary
