Our ‘get it done’ culture allows everyone at Snowflake to have an equal opportunity to innovate on new ideas, create work with a lasting impact, and excel in a culture of collaboration.\nAS A PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER, YOU WILL:\nBe responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad organizational, business and technical impact.\nProvide cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.\nBring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions.\nWork closely with Software Engineers across various teams and Product Managers to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle.\nAmplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.\nIdentify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements.\nA PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE IS EXPECTED TO HAVE:\n10+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise leading medium to large complex projects in current cloud technologies.\nAbility to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities.\nExperience working cross functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in the product life cycle especially in earlier phases when product or architecture are not yet well defined\nStrong program management skills with technical and business acumen\nEffective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.\nBS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.\nEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Snowflake employees must abide by the company’s data security plan as an essential part of their duties. It is every employee's duty to keep customer information secure and confidential.\nThe following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:\nThe estimated base salary range for this role is $191,000 - $299,000.\nAdditionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.\nThe successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.\nSnowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
