As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling materials within our warehouse or distribution center. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating various types of equipment.\nDuties:\n- Pick and pack orders according to established guidelines\n- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers\n- Operate heavy equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and RF scanners\n- Move materials to designated areas using appropriate equipment\n- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain inventory records\n- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials\n- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment\n- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies\nRequirements:\n- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role preferred\n- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently\n- Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management\n- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately\n- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds\n- Excellent organizational and time management skills\n- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\n- High school diploma or equivalent\nNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
