Compensation is earned through commissions on vehicle sales in accordance with the dealership's commission plan. While earnings are not guaranteed and vary based on individual performance, employees in this role have historically earned between $80,000 and $200,000 annually.Experience & Qualifications NeededValid driver’s license and clean driving record5 years of previous automotive sales experience is required5 years of supervisory experience is preferred1 year of Dealer System Management (DMS) experienceEssential Duties and Major Responsibilities: Lead by example in driving vehicle sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.Work directly with customers and sales associates to build relationships, overcome objections, and assist in closing vehicle sales.Coach, train, and support sales staff to improve performance, product knowledge, and customer engagement.Monitor sales department productivity and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals.Facilitate regular sales meetings and training sessions to support team development and continuous improvement.Assist in structuring deals and collaborating with sales associates to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.Meet with customers to discuss financing options and facilitate a smooth transition from vehicle purchase to finance.Maintain relationships with lending institutions to help secure competitive financing options for customers.Ensure finance-related transactions and documentation comply with dealership policies and applicable federal and state regulations.Promote finance and protection products that provide value to customers while contributing to dealership profitability.What We Offer: Competitive 401k / 401k matchingMedical / Dental / Vision InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) - free, confidential counselingPTO AccrualHealth Savings AccountFlexible Spending AccountVoluntary Life and AD&DEmployee Discounted Pricing on Parts, Vehicles, and ServiceWhat Makes Us Different?As a family owned and operated company for over 65 years, McDonald Automotive is proud to serve Colorado with a legacy built on respect, integrity, growth, hard work, and trust.
