NOTE: Due to the secure work environment this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.\nThe Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and Office of the Chief Prosecutor (OCP) require litigation support to prosecution counsel in all aspects of pre-trial investigation and trial preparation for the Military Commissions convened under the Military Commissions Act of 2009 (including United States v. Al Nashiri, United States v. Khalid Shaikh Mohammad et al., and United States v. Abd al Hadi al-Iraqi).\nHOW AN INTELLIGENCE ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:\nThe Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and Office of the Chief Prosecutor (OCP) require litigation support to prosecution counsel in all aspects of pre-trial and trial preparation for the Military Commissions convened under the Military Commissions Act of 2009. Analysts supporting OCP would be responsible for identifying, resourcing, and executing discovery-related missions as directed by the Chief Prosecutor, including, but not limited to:\nConducting comprehensive searches for documents in response to specific defense discovery requests, applying applicable redactions, and crafting adequate substitutes\nRetrieving and refining, as necessary, summaries and substitutions\nPerforming other discovery, pretrial preparation, and trial missions, including, but not limited to, research and analysis of existing intelligence, law enforcement, and legal products, as well as creation of new products\nManaging the organization's task-oriented system and assisting in its daily support of all trial teams\nExecuting occasional travel, both local and international\nTravel Requirements: up to 25% international travel, or as determined by OCP.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED – REQUIRED:\n\nCLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI security clearance ** NOTE: clearance MUST be held in JPAS/DISS **\nEDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies) or equivalent combination\nYEAR'S EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience in intelligence analysis and/or criminal litigation support\nSKILLS & ABILITIES:\nAbility to manage multiple, simultaneous task requirements within a fast-paced environment\nExceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups in a demanding environment\nAbility to work independently\nAble to report onsite as indicated above\nLOCATION: Onsite in McLean, VA\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED – DESIRED:\nEDUCATION: Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies)\nSKILLS & ABILITIES:\nKnowledge of Military Commission process\nProgressive experience providing support to criminal litigation\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:\n\n401K with company match\nComprehensive health and wellness packages\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career\nProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications\nCutting-edge technology you can learn from\nRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays\nWork Requirements\nYears of Experience\n2 + years of related experience\nmay vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree\nCertification\nTravel Required\n10-25%\nCitizenship\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nSalary and Benefit Information\nThe likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $92,000.
