Your key responsibilities will include:\nOperating a Bobtail Flatbed Truck: Drive a bobtail flatbed truck equipped with a lift gate to transport materials safely and efficiently.\nDelivering Materials: Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers, including assisting with loading and unloading materials and maintaining thorough documentation for all deliveries.\nHandling Customer Returns: Process customer returns with precision, verifying product details to facilitate accurate credit requests.\nVehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the vehicle as needed, and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor promptly.\nEnsuring Compliance: Follow all DOT standards and regulations to maintain safety and compliance.\nUpholding Safety Standards: Adhere to and promote all company safety policies and procedures to protect yourself and others.\nSupporting Warehouse Operations: Collaborate with warehouse staff to pick, prepare, receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials as needed.\nFlexibility: Be prepared to work overtime as required to meet business demands.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.\nPossess a valid California Class C Driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.\nMust have clean driving record.\nPrevious warehouse experience is strongly preferred, but not required.\n2 years of professional driving related experience and/or training\nLong hours of moving and heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.\nBasic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications.\nAbility to put things in a proper sequence (e.g., by size, alphabetically, numerically) and to put like items together.\nKnowledge of driving laws and adherence to speed limits while driving a company vehicle.\nKnowledge of the procedure in the event of an accident in the warehouse or in company vehicle.\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
