Sales Representative
We are looking for a Sales Representative who will be responsible for building relationships and developing referral opportunities with businesses (hospitals, rehabs, facilities), professionals (GCMs, Discharge Planners, Care Navigators), community organizations (senior centers, government agencies), and individuals serving the elderly community. The sales representative will be required to travel to Mass, NY, New Hampshire, and CT. This individual must gain a comprehensive and deep understanding of the professional and consumer community in order to both increase the referral of qualified clients to the company as well as identify resources with which the company can partner to provide optimum client service and care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze target Markets and develop sales leads and materials.
Increase referral source volume through daily interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations.
Develop strong relationships with community and professional organizations to create a consistent network that generates the necessary inquiries and admissions. Establish relationships and marketing opportunities with community groups, healthcare organizations, and industry associations.
Develop weekly/monthly schedule for determining frequency of visits to each referral source.
Seeks out new business opportunities, such as partnerships with healthcare providers or expansion into new service areas, to enhance company growth and position within the homecare industry. Make phone calls or send emails to contact prospective customers.
Leverage your knowledge of homecare as a senior care expert to referral sources by Educating consumers on agency services.
Handle payments and close transactions, Make presentations to professionals and community organizations on the homecare industry as a whole.
Determine company information and presentation methods with providers based on each provider's needs/interests and professional goals.
Create and maintain a database of all contacts and referral sources, present weekly status reports of all site visits, and follow up leads on perspective referrals and other activities.
Participates in on-call
Determine incentives and promotional items to ensure stand-out recognition within the homecare industry.
Determine industry or competitor trends, such as rates, services, etc., to determine whether the company should renew or change its professional image or edge.
Present to professionals and community organizations on the homecare industry as a whole.
Perform any other activities as directed by the supervisor.
Must Haves:
Minimum of five year’s Outside sales or liaison experience in the health care industry.
Experience working with various health care partners and an understanding of the overall health care industry.
Account management style sales experience.
Prior experience calling on hospital social workers/case managers.
Self-driven approach and personal accountability.
Track record of team collaboration
Solid community and professional contacts within the geographic market
Record of superior customer service in a high-end service business
Enthusiastic, positive thinking, and effective communicator
Proven record of effectiveness in relationship-development sales
Strong computer skills
Valid Driver’s License
Degree in Marketing
Experience in private pay Home Care sales.
Proven track record of meeting with patients/families and achieving sales goals.
