Our Test Engineers are on the frontlines of designing test methodologies and systems that ensure we ship the highest quality products.\nThis problem space provides a unique opportunity to work hands-on with SEL products, instrumentation, test automation hardware & software. Our ideal candidate has a background in electronics instrumentation, test engineering, or hardware design and thrives in a collaborative environment.\nA typical day as an Electronics Test Engineer might include the following:\nCollaborating with product design engineers to establish test methodologies and coverage for new products.\nDesigning new test approaches, hardware, instrumentation, and automation.\nCoordinating with other Test Engineers, Software Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Test Operators, and Technicians to design, build, support, and improve custom test solutions.\nContinually monitoring and improving existing test systems and test coverage.\nThis job might be for you if you have the following:\nA degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.\nBackground writing test procedures and test documentation.\nExperience with electronic instrumentation and metrology.\nExcellent writing and speaking skills.\nAn enthusiasm for learning new skills and solving hard problems.\n\nPreferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:\nDesigning and developing production tests.\nDefining processes for in-circuit test.\nAutomation of tests through software, hardware, and systems engineering.\nDesign and construction of bed-of-nails test fixtures.\nReal-time test troubleshooting.\nEngineering leadership.\nPhysical Requirements\nNone\nLocation:\nPullman, WA- The SEL corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life.
