Geary Pacific Supply is currently seeking a Warehouse/Driver to join their team today! Pay: $18-22 hourly based on experience + bonuses Shift: Full time, 8 hr shift, Monday-Friday. Between business hours 8 am-5 pm. The position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi‐task to service customers who are physically present and manage internal processes like receiving, picking, and putting away products. This is a driving position that must also safely operate company vehicles to perform Customer deliveries or Branch Transfers. The position reports to the Branch Manager. Responsibilities Safely / accurately use tools like handheld scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks Forklift knowledge Pick Sales Orders and Pick Transfer Orders Review order with the customer to ensure accuracy Safely operate company vehicles when performing Customer deliveries or Branch Transfers Must have some experience driving trucks as there will be an occasional need to drive a 26 foot box truck. Check‐in and Receive Shipments from Vendors / Transfer Orders from other Branches Warehouse management functions Loading and unloading equipment, parts, and supplies to and from delivery trucks throughout each day Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment and report issues to the manager Conduct weekly inspections of the facility and keep the warehouse area organized Requirements: 1+ years of truck driving experience (at minimum a 16ft box truck) - required 2+ years of warehouse experience - required Forklift certification or willing to obtain Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be at least 21 years of age to drive our vehicles due to insurance Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks HVAC or related industry experience is helpful but not required Ability to be customer-facing and work professionally with contractors and warehouse directors Positive Attitude – always smiling and friendly High sense of urgency – need to get things done quickly Helpful – first to volunteer Safety conscious – always thinking ahead of proper procedures Detail-oriented – need to have things kept accurate and in order Employment may be contingent on successfully passing a background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable law.
