If you are motivated by these principles, we encourage\nyou to join our team!\nHTH seeks a RBT/ABA Support Assistant, to assist students within the classroom setting, as well as\nfacilitate small group and individual instruction.\nJOB SUMMARY\nThe Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Support Assistant is responsible\nfor ensuring that students with exceptionally diverse needs have access to our general education\ncurriculum. Special Education Academic Coaches are essential to ensuring all students get the\nindividualized attention requisite for success.\nDuties include:\nAssist teachers by working with individual students on a one-to-one basis\no 1:1 duties include but are not limited to\ntoileting and hygiene support\nattending to student medical needs\nImplementation of a behavior intervention plan\n1:1 instruction delivered in a separate setting\nLifting or transferring students\no Implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans\no Implementation or Behavior Crisis Plan and management of behavioral escalation\no Behavior Data Collection\nAssist with the instruction and supervision of students who may have learning differences\nAssist with tutorial activities working with an individual or group of students who may have learning\ndifferences\nMonitor student progress and provide input for evaluation and parent conference upon request\nEstablish rapport and meaningful relationships with referred students to assist in improving their\nbehavior, educational performance, and social relationships\nPerform clerical support duties including typing, completing documents, forms, record,\ncorrespondence; which may include note taking for students\nThe ideal candidate would possess the following competencies:\nBuilding relationships\nCommunication, both written and oral\nAbility to evaluate alternatives\nInterpersonal skills\nAbility to listen and motivate\nTeamwork\nCreate plans and goal set\nEDUCATION\nHigh School diploma/GED; and\nRegistered Behavior Technician Certification or ABA Training equivalent; and\nOne of the following:\nAn Associate's degree (or higher); or\n48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university; or\nMet a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local\nacademic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading (or\nreadiness), writing (or readiness), and mathematics (or readiness), CBEST test.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience in a school/learning environment\nMore than 6 months experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis\nSALARY & BENEFITS\nThis is an hourly position that can work variable hours up to 35 per week.
