This role will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web architecture, ensuring application performance and responsiveness, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities\r\nLead the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment\r\nMaintain, optimize, and upgrade production systems\r\nDesign, build, test, and deploy scalable applications\r\nOwn end-to-end development of features and services\r\nContribute to and help improve automated testing processes\r\nReview, modify, and enhance existing codebases\r\nArchitect and develop front-end user experiences and interactions\r\nBuild and maintain back-end services and APIs\r\nEnsure cross-platform optimization and mobile responsiveness\r\nCollaborate with design and product teams to deliver intuitive user experiences\r\nBalance technical requirements with user needs\r\nStay current with emerging technologies and best practices\r\nSuccessful Candidates Will Possess\r\n5+ years of relevant full stack development experience\r\nStrong expertise in React and Next.js (required)\r\nStrong familiarity and expertise with Vercel\r\nAbility to use modern (AI-powered) development tools but also has not forgotten how to apply a critical eye to any piece of code in the codebase and also apply system-level thinking\r\nExperience with React Native is a plus\r\nDeep knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern libraries/frameworks (primarily React and Next.js; familiarity with Angular or jQuery is a plus)\r\nExperience working in cloud-based environments such as Vercel, AWS, PlanetScale, or MongoDB Atlas; familiarity with similar PaaS tools is good\r\nStrong organizational skills with attention to documentation and detail\r\nExperience with databases such as MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB\r\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\r\nProven problem-solving ability and attention to detail\r\nExperience with server-side programming languages such as Rust, Python, or Go is a plus\r\nFamiliarity with database systems and caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached, or Varnish\r\nBasic understanding of UI/UX principles and prototyping\r\nExperience working with Nginx or Apache servers and Linux environments, with the ability to troubleshoot performance issues\r\nAbility to think through and architect systems, then execute on building them end-to-end\r\nSalary Range\r\nThe salary target for this role is $140,000 – $160,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data.
