As a Cloud Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for distributed and managed services automating the installation, configuration and maintenance of platform services.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using TerraformMigrate existing CloudFormation code to TerraformDevelop reusable Terraform modules and maintain version-controlled infrastructureWork with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to implement CI/CD and deployment strategiesWhat you will need:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOpsStrong proficiency with Terraform (writing modules, managing state, workspaces, etc.)Hands-on experience with AWS cloud providerExperience with DevOps tools and utilities to include Github, Ansible & CDKAbility to work effectively in a Linux-based development environmentFamiliarity with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IAM in the cloudProficient in at least one scripting languageNice to haves:Terraform SMEHands-on experience with multiple cloud providers such as [AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP]Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsHands on experience with pythonKnowledge of containerizationCLEARANCE:Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph level clearance.Ramtec, and its clients are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
