Automotive Mechanic / Auto Technician Woodstock

Job Overview We are currently hiring a Mechanic / Technician to join our growing team. We welcome applicants with or without Red Seal certification. If you have hands‐on experience working with vehicles, trailers, equipment, or in a shop environment, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for reliable individuals who are comfortable working with tools, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and completing maintenance tasks. Experience from garages, repair shops, fleet companies, fabrication shops, or similar environments is considered an asset. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical diagnostics, repairs, and general troubleshooting Complete preventive maintenance and scheduled service work Repair and service brake systems Diagnose and repair electrical issues Repair and maintain hydraulic systems Welding, fabrication, and assembly work as required Replace or repair faulty components and mechanical parts Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently Complete inspections and identify repair needs Maintain accurate service records and work documentation Assist with pickup, delivery, and related paperwork when required Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Qualifications Previous hands‐on experience working with vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, or in a mechanical/shop environment RedSeal certification is an asset, but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, brake, or welding systems is an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic Ability to lift heavy parts and perform physical tasks safely What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full‐time, secure employment Chance for growth and skill development Supportive team setting Variety of work on trucks, trailers, and equipment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $27.28 – $42.77 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week Benefits: On-site parking Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
