The Adjunct Professor delivers high-quality undergraduate instruction that bridges theory and professional practice, supporting adult learners through equity-centered, constructivist, and trauma-informed pedagogy.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nTeach graduate-level Early Childhood Education courses within the Master of Arts program.\r\nEngage adult learners through inclusive pedagogy.\r\nAssess student learning and maintain records.\r\nFoster respectful and supportive learning environments.\r\nCommunicate professionally with students and academic leadership.\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nMaster's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.\r\nRelevant professional experience in Early Childhood Education.\r\nKnowledge of adult learning theory.\r\nDemonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in an online format using a Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas).\r\nCommitment to Pacific Oaks College's mission and social justice values.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nDoctorate in Early Childhood Education or related field.\r\nPublications or research in early childhood education.\r\nProficiency in Canvas LMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and online teaching tools.\r\nLocation & Compensation\r\nFlex: This position is eligible for flexible work arrangements, allowing employees to choose their work location based on role requirements and team needs.
