Your work will positively impact on the lives of those athletes, coaches and sports teams that seek to utilize cutting-edge apparel and equipment.\nAs a member of the BSN Sports team, the Digital Printer Operator, this role uses various systems and media on wide format printers to print orders based on schedule requirements. The Digital Printer Operator will use various computer programs to print orders, perform light maintenance on printers and dryer/shakers, ensure printer quality of all orders processed, and be able to troubleshoot all technology (computer hardware, software, printers, dryer/shakers, UV printers, etc.) to ensure high quality and timely delivery of orders.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO ON A DAILY BASIS:\nUses various software packages to prepare and print order files; able to execute process of getting artwork from different network locations in to correct software so order can be produced.\nAble to execute prints in different formats (ex-transfers, wall clings, banners, UV).\nUnderstands production schedule and how to properly prioritize orders to ensure the orders that are due are printed to meet or exceed delivery date.\nPerforms light printer maintenance including refilling inks, cleaning nozzles and print heads, monitoring powder level in dryer/shakers and adding when needed, draining oil from dryer/shakers and cleaning up oil at end of shift.\nMonitors quality of all printed items; looking for any issues with print quality. If an issue is discovered, reports and then troubleshoots the issue to attempt to resolve\nAccurately tracks and reports productivity, reprints and errors\nAssists in maintaining materials and supplies inventory\nMay load/unload material (rolls)\nCuts and sort transfers; matches paperwork to transfer when required\nOther duties as assigned\nWHAT SKILLS YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:\nExperienced, great attitude, and aptitude for leadership\nGreat attention to detail and organization skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nBasic computer skills; able to learn/use Rip software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and Google sheets\nAble to troubleshoot technical details (printer operations) and use Root cause analysis on print quality issues.\nLearn tasks quickly, be detailed, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.\nCandidates are required to differentiate and coordinate colors and able to identify a variety of quality issues.\nAbility to work in a structured and process-oriented environment\nAbility to multi-task and solve problems\nRead and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.\nCommunicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.\nParticipate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.\nLearn tasks quickly, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.\nAbility to add, subtract multiply and divide numbers.\nKNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION\nHS Diploma or GED (required)\nPrevious warehouse experience is a bonus\nBilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus\nPreference will be given to candidates with previous related experience.\nAt least 2-3 years of continued work experience\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time (8 hours minimally), repetitive movement of the body, lifting of no less than 5-40 lbs. on a frequent basis, 41-85lbs on an occasional basis, and must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment (including seasonal exposure to heat and humidity).
