Apply via Dice today!Introduction:This position is for a Senior Embedded Software and Control Engineer who will be responsible for developing and implementing embedded software and control systems for various industries including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive & EV, Rail & Transportation, Medical Devices, Energy & Power Systems, Semiconductor & Electronics, and Industrial Automation.Responsibilities:Develop embedded software using programming languages such as C, C++, and MATLABWork with hardware/microcontrollers including TI C2000, NXP, MCU, and BSPImplement communication protocols like CAN Bus, ARINC 825, SPI, Ethernet, and ICDDesign control systems including state machines, actuator control, motor control, BMS, power sequencing, supervisory control, and fault managementConduct testing and validation using MIL, SIL, HIL, hardware bring-up, and test automationEnsure compliance with safety standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754, ARP4761, and ISO 26262Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and diagnosticsRequirements:Required Skills:Experience with ARINC 825, ARP4761, and other aerospace standardsProficiency in computer hardware, embedded systems, and embedded software developmentKnowledge of real-time systems, firmware, middleware, and requirements traceabilityStrong background in C, C++, MATLAB, microcontrollers, SPI, and EthernetPreferred Skills:Experience in the aerospace, automotive, rail, medical devices, energy, semiconductor, or industrial automation industriesFamiliarity with safety-critical systems and fault managementPrevious work on projects involving system integration and supervisory control
