Work together with system controls engineers and\nsoftware engineers to bring product from concept to production.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nResponsible for creating the validation plan; designing, developing and executing the\nimplementation of test cases to guarantee the quality of the application software\nSupport the development of software test plan and test specification\nCreate high level as well as detailed software verification and validation plans\nDevelop and maintain the validation framework for automation of test framework\nCreate test cases and detailed test content to validate the application software\nDevelop and maintain Plan Models for Power Electronics, Transmission System, etc.\nDefine test cases for Fault Management & Diagnostics, Performance & Timing of embedded\nSW\nDesign and development DVP following ASPICE process\nTest for compliance to ISO-26262 Functional Safety\nEnsure test configuration management process is implemented and consistently followed\nSpecify, build, utilize, and maintain HIL equipment\nPerform MIL/SIL/HIL software validation testing and plant model verification\nCreate and present reports on software quality metrics\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems\n3+ years of software development/coding or validation experience\n3+ years of experience developing software requirements or software test specifications\n3+ years HIL experience\n3+ years of Plan Model development using tools such as Plecs, MATLAB/Simulink, and\ndSPACE.\nExperience in automotive applications and applicable interfaces such as CAN, LIN\nExcellent troubleshooting & debugging skills both on the test bench and in vehicle\nExperience with tools such as Plecs, MATLAB/Simulink, CANalyzer, CANoe, vTESTstudio,\nPlexim, Polarion, and GitHub\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in CMMI or ASPICE\nExperience with model-based software processes\nExperience in functional and diagnostic testing for automotive embedded software\nExperience in ISO 26262 Functional safety a plus\nExperience with AUTOSAR is a plus\n\nBonus Potential\nThis position is eligible for Meritor’s Incentive Compensation Plan, which offers payouts based on\ncompany performance.\n\nBenefits\nMeritor provides a comprehensive total rewards benefit program.
