And whoever we’re with, whatever we’re doing, we always make it real.\n\nPosition Summary\n\nReporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Traffic Controller will be responsible for all daily tasks for the sheller and cold storage.\n\nPosition Responsibilities\n\nSheller:\nKeep trucks organized in parking lot, direct traffic on Jordan Street\nInspect and blow out trailers; notify shipping lead of condition\nInform shipping lead of how many vents are on the truck\nDirect driver to assigned dock\nChock wheels, install brake line lock, jack stand on dropped trailers, confirm dock is locked on trailer, inform shipping lead\nInform driver that the load is ready and safe to pull away from dock\nSeal trailer doors, send driver back to scale house\nOn all transfer loads: Open and close doors on trailers, set jack stand\nCold Storage:\nOpen doors on trailer\nInstall wheel chock, brake line lock, jack stand\nInform lift driver that the trailer is ready to lock in\nConfirm lock\nInform truck driver that the load is ready and safe to pull away from dock\n\nPosition Requirements\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred\nCustomer service oriented with good communications skills\nAbility to work as part of a team.\nPhysical dexterity.\nWillingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary).\nThis role is performed on site at a facility that regularly processes peanuts Employees in this position will routinely work in areas where peanuts and related allergens are present and may be exposed by contact or in the air.
