Recruitment Specialist

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the agency's full-cycle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee transition processes. This position serves as a strategic partner to agency leadership by identifying staffing needs, developing recruitment strategies, ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies, supporting employee training initiatives, and implementing solutions that improve recruitment effectiveness and employee retention. The Recruitment Specialist serves as an ambassador of the Children's Advocacy Center for North Texas and promotes the organization's mission, values, and culture throughout all stages of the employment lifecycle.Essential FunctionsManage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes such as posting/removing job advertisements, conducting phone screenings, arranging interviews, editing job descriptions, and managing the hiring cycle.Onboarding new hires and assisting in tracking internal employee training per organizational requirements.Train and onboard new employees/Offboard terminated employees.Support leadership and employees in navigating hiring, onboarding, training, and offboarding procedures.Aid in monitoring the implementation of employee policies and procedures followed by leadership and staff.Develop recommendations to improve recruitment effectiveness, hiring outcomes, and employee retention.Assist with implementation and monitoring of personnel policies and procedures.Support audits, reporting requirements, and documentation reviews related to employment processes and organizational standards.Promote the mission, values, and culture of the Children's Advocacy Center for North Texas throughout all recruitment efforts.Maintain and administer the agency's intranet platform to ensure employees have access to current information, forms, resources, policies, and organizational updates.Assist with development and implementation of internal communication strategies that support employee engagement and organizational culture.Participate in agency events, trainings, and meetings as required.Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.Other duties as assigned.ScheduleTypical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., but work hours may vary and be extended until 9:00 p.m. according to company needs.TravelThis position will be in the Lewisville, TX office. Travel to all three locations (Lewisville, Denton, and Bridgeport) is required when agency needs arise.Education and TrainingBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.Experience2 years’ experience in administrative support, preferably at a non-profit or governmental agency. Experience with confidential records preferred.HR or recruitment experienceIntermediate computer and data entry skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite.Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruitment practices, and onboarding procedures preferred.Proven effective organizational and time-management skills.
