This position offers a hybrid work schedule (4 days onsite, 1 days telework). Development currently uses the Agile Scrum Methodology to gather requirements, develop, deliver, and maintain software applications.\r\nEssential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:\r\nAccurately represent customer requirements, i.e., gather and interpret relevant data and information, using excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.\r\nAnalyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas and develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.\r\nTest, fix, and refine the computer software to produce the required product.\r\nEnhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.\r\nProvide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.\r\nAssist Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements, design specifications to code, integrate, and test software components.\r\nDevelop advanced system specifications.\r\nParticipate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.\r\nAssist Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements, design specifications to code, integrate, and test software components.\r\nRequired Skills and Competencies\r\n4+ years related experience\r\nMust be able to demonstrate working in an operational environment where priorities change frequently.\r\nMust be able to demonstrate expertise in information system design, including application programming on large-scale database management services and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives.\r\nPrefer expertise working with NoSQL databases.\r\nPrefer Java Programmer Certified.\r\nAdditional Requirements\r\nMust be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly\r\nAbility to work on-site in Vienna, VA (3 days per week)\r\nExperience with AWS cloud environments\r\nStrong teamwork and collaboration skills\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\r\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\r\nStrong documentation and communication abilities\r\nEducation\r\nBachelor's degree in related field\r\nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy\r\nThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
