This position will initially be based full-time in Naples and/or Jupiter for approximately 12-24 months - we have a need for someone in both/either locations. Upon successful completion of the project, the selected candidate will transition to supporting future industrial and infrastructure projects throughout other areas of Florida as well.\n\nWe are looking for an organized, motivated professional with experience coordinating the electrical and instrumentation aspects of industrial construction and commissioning projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing EPC contractor with significant long-term opportunities for advancement.\n\nPosition Summary\n\nThe I&C Commissioning Coordinator will work closely with project management, field supervision, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and the client to coordinate commissioning activities for electrical, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA, and control systems. The successful candidate will help ensure that systems are installed, tested, documented, energized, and commissioned safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.\n\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate daily commissioning activities between field personnel, project management, engineering, and the client.\nAssist in planning and scheduling electrical and instrumentation commissioning activities.\nCoordinate startup, testing, troubleshooting, and turnover of electrical and control systems.\nSupport commissioning of:\nLow and medium voltage electrical equipment\nMotor control centers (MCCs)\nVariable Frequency Drives (VFDs)\nPLC and SCADA systems\nProcess instrumentation\nControl panels\nPumps, motors, and associated control equipment\nCoordinate required inspections, permits, testing agencies, and utility interfaces as needed.\nTrack commissioning progress, punch lists, startup documentation, and turnover packages.\nWork with engineering and field teams to resolve commissioning issues.\nMaintain accurate commissioning records and project documentation.\nParticipate in project meetings and provide commissioning status updates.\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and client safety requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience coordinating electrical or instrumentation commissioning on industrial projects.\nExperience in water or wastewater treatment facilities is highly preferred.\nAbility to provide a list of project references, including phone numbers.\nWorking knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls.\nFamiliarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, process controls, VFDs, switchgear, and motor control equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret:\nElectrical drawings\nOne-line diagrams\nControl schematics\nInstrument loop drawings\nP&IDs\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.\nProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).\nOSHA 30 certification is a plus.\nWork Schedule\nMonday-Friday\n7:30 AM - 4:30 PM\nOvertime available based on project needs\nTravel\n\nThis position will initially be based in Naples, Florida for approximately 12-24 months.\n\nAfter completion of the Naples project, this position will support electrical infrastructure projects throughout Florida. Applicants should be willing to travel as future assignments require.\n\nCompensation\nStarting pay: Depends on experience and qualifications.
