We believe our people are our greatest asset, which is why we invest in creating a workplace where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.\n\nSummary: The Setup Operator is primarily responsible for the setting up of designated machines, tools, and work cells in an approved manner that ensures safe operation (in accordance with OSHA regulations) and the production of a quality product within specifications per the standard approved processing parameters.\n\nShifts Available:\n\n2nd Shift - Monday - Friday 3:15pm - 11:45pm; overtime as required.\n\nStarting wage: $20.00/hour +1.00 2nd shift differential\n\n*Training will be required on 1st shift hours for 1-3 weeks.\n\nEssential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below satisfactorily.\n\nSetup of Designated Machines, Manufacturing Cells/Workstations, and Tooling:\n\nTear down and setup of injection shaft machine.\nSetup and teardown of tablet press according to work instructions for multiple job processes. ‘\nOccasionally need to tear down and re- setup during run to keep thickness and weight.\nTurn on gas lines and set requirements for the process. Record settings and monitor Kiln.\n\nMaterial Handling:\n\nWork with Supervisors and Leads on release of work orders.\nWhen done pressing parts, they need to be placed into a sagger (2000 parts per). Each sagger needs to be packed in a specific order making sure to have sand packed between all capacitors.\n\nTooling and Machine Condition:\n\nCheck all tablet press tooling for cracks and sharpness of punches and dies.\nRemove and replace 3 different sets of tooling for tablet press.\nMonitor Temperatures of all ovens and Kiln and notify Maintenance if there are any changes.\nCheck and maintain temperature and quality of solder in silver solder pot, replace when necessary.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.\n\nKnowledge, Education and/or Experience:\n\nRequires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED,) one to three years of related experience and/ or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.\nThis position requires forklift certification (training and certification can be provided)\nOn the job training may be required.\n\nPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nLifting Requirements: Frequently 1 -50lbs and rarely 51-75.\n\nMovement Requirements: Continuously standing, walking, talking or hearing, reaching upward or outward, and bending the neck side-to-side or front-to-back. Frequently feeling, kneeling/crouch/squat, pinching/finger manipulation, grasping/turning the wrist.
