Enjoy a long weekend!\nUp to $2,500 Hiring Bonus\nWhat You’ll Do\nProgram, set up, and operate Sinker EDM / RAM EDM / Conventional EDM equipment\nRun precision EDM work on Makino CNC EDM machines\nWork with graphite and copper electrodes for complex profiles, cavities, features, and tight-tolerance details\nInterpret blueprints, drawings, models, GD&T, tolerances, and customer specifications\nPerform EDM burning, electrode setup, alignment, offset adjustments, and process troubleshooting\nSupport work involving C-axis EDM, helical EDM, indexing, carbide circuit, and fine-finish EDM applications\nInspect your own work using precision measuring tools and quality documentation\nWork closely with machining, grinding, quality, engineering, and production teams\nMaintain clean, organized, accurate, and repeatable setups\nSupport continuous improvement, process stability, and first-time-right manufacturing\n ️Equipment & Technology You May Use:\n\nKMM’s EDM and manufacturing capabilities include:\n\nMakino EDAF-3 CNC EDM with C Axis\nMakino EDNC-32 CNC EDM\nFine Finish Carbide circuit EDM capability\nHelical EDMing and indexing capability\n8-station and 16-position tool changer EDM systems\nGraphite and copper electrode-based EDM processes\nMastercam\nEsprit CAD/CAM\nSolidWorks\nCMMs, optical comparators, micrometers, gages, and precision inspection equipment\n\nOur facility also includes Wire EDM, 3/4/5-axis CNC machining, mill-turn, Swiss machining, grinding, finishing, passivation, laser marking, and advanced inspection capabilities.\n\n✅What We’re Looking For\n\nThis role is a strong fit for someone who is dependable, curious, and hands-on.\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n5+ years of Sinker EDM, RAM EDM, Conventional EDM, Plunge EDM, or Mold Maker experience\nEDM programming, setup, and operation experience\nExperience with Makino EDM or similar CNC EDM equipment\nStrong blueprint reading skills\nWorking knowledge of GD&T\nExperience producing tight-tolerance precision components\nAbility to work with graphite and/or copper electrodes\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nAbility to inspect your own work and maintain quality standards\nComfort working in a high-mix, precision manufacturing environment\nBonus Points if you have experience with:\nMakino EDAF or Makino EDNC experience\nExperience with helical EDM, C-axis EDM, indexing, carbide circuit, or fine-finish EDM\nElectrode manufacturing experience\nGraphite electrode experience\nCopper electrode experience\nMastercam experience\nEsprit CAD/CAM experience\nSolidWorks or model-based manufacturing experience\nToolmaking, moldmaking, or tool & die background\nMedical device manufacturing experience\nAerospace, defense, or space manufacturing experience\nExperience with first article inspection, in-process inspection, or close-tolerance quality documentation\n\nPhysical Requirements\nStand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.\nFrequently use hands and fingers to operate machinery, tools, controls, gauges, and measuring instruments.\nDistinguish colors, displays, indicators, and measurement markings when performing programming, setup verification, and inspection-related tasks.\nCommunicate effectively with machinists, engineers, quality personnel, and production teams in a manufacturing environment.\nVisually inspect parts, tooling, machine displays, blueprints, and measurement devices, including the ability to distinguish fine details and small dimensional variations.\nOccasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials, tooling, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance.\nSafely operate material handling equipment and lifting devices when required.\nWork around moving mechanical equipment, cutting tools, metal chips, coolants, lubricants, and other manufacturing-related materials.\nTolerate exposure to moderate noise levels typical of a manufacturing environment while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nMaintain regular attendance and work scheduled overtime as needed to support production requirements.\nITAR Requirement\n\nKMM is an ITAR-registered facility.
