Senior Cloud Full Stack Engineer
Our client, a leading global hospitality company, places guest care at the heart of its brand. Delivering that care at scale demands a sophisticated, AI-assisted personalization engine spanning every touchpoint of the guest journey, from initial acquisition through post-stay reactivation.The Senior Cloud Full Stack Engineer will design, build, operate, and continuously improve cloud-native solutions that power end-to-end personalized guest experiences. Working across a cross-functional team- engineering, IT, digital, data, and marketing- this individual will help shape the Marketing Technology Ecosystem, aligning architecture and integration strategies to activate personalized experiences across digital channels (web, app, email, paid media, social) and offline touchpoints (front desk, concierge, contact centers, direct mail).The right candidate is an expert problem-solver who thrives in an AWS cloud-first environment, leveraging the best available tooling to deliver measurable outcomes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCloud Engineering & ArchitectureDesign, develop, and operate full-stack cloud solutions in AWS using a serverless-first and managed-service-first approach.Define application infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), primarily Terraform.Support cloud migration initiatives by refactoring legacy systems and modernizing applications using cloud-native patterns.Maintain DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, repeatable delivery.Technical LeadershipProvide hands-on technical leadership across the full development lifecycle with a strong focus on quality.Lead technical discussions, build engineering consensus, and promote best practices through code reviews and mentorship.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to established standards.Product & CollaborationCollaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to align engineering effort with business goals and user needs.Participate in product planning and roadmap discussions, contributing technical insight to influence direction.Take end-to-end ownership of feature development — from ideation and prototyping through deployment and iteration.Leverage analytics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement of the product experience.Culture & InclusionFoster a diverse, inclusive, and psychologically safe team environment.Champion the company's core values and model them in day-to-day work.EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLSCore Engineering5+ years architecting and developing full-stack solutions with hands-on use of build and deployment tooling (Jenkins, Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines).5+ years of application and backend API development using object-oriented languages (Java, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript).5+ years of front-end web development (HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript).AWS & CloudStrong command of AWS serverless services: S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge.Experience with cloud database services: RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB.Containerization proficiency: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS/Fargate.IaC tools: Serverless Framework, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform.Foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure: VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, IAM, CloudWatch.Architecture & ProcessFamiliarity with event-driven and service-oriented architectures.Experience in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and CI/CD pipelines.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written).CERTIFICATIONSAWS Certification preferred: Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Developer, or AWS DevOps.Additional cloud certifications (GCP, Azure) are advantageous but not required.MMD Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
