Job Summary: Will work with HoganTaylor LLP’s subsidiary HT Wealth as a lead relationship manager for wealth management (investments and financial planning) clients. Responsibilities: Lead by example; actively live out and promote the firm’s core values and service standards Manage and develop a book of business: learn client goals, articulate various solutions, help set implementation steps Utilize various software programs (planning, CRM, investment related, etc.) inputting data and generating reports Collaborate and communicate with many different professionals and advisors for clients’ best interest (including internal and external professionals and competitors) Prepare and conduct client portfolio review meetings Support Partners or other Managers as needed to transition client responsibilities as needed to ensure clients are effectively serviced through the firm Continually network, grow book of business, and connect clients to helpful services and allied professionals. Make investment recommendations then monitor and modify strategies as clients move through major life changes. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the firm’s products and ensure adherence to allocation policies Develop and maintain a strong personal network through personal investment in building a community presence. Work with team members on departmental initiatives to support overall growth of the team as well as the business. Contribute to the effective management of the firm by being a good corporate citizen and meeting internal firm administration requirements Support junior advisors by supervising, training and/or mentoring staff as assigned Adherence to the firm’s quality control and compliance standards Travel as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Active Series 65 exam or equivalent Professional designation of CFP© strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance or other business-related field 3+ years of experience working with clients in an investment advisory capacity 3+ years of experience engaged in some/all aspects of the financial planning process with diverse clientele (numerous sophisticated and unsophisticated clients) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Office, and PowerPoint Excellent verbal, written, and nonverbal communication skills Excellent analytical, presentation, interpersonal and relationship management skills Demonstrated ability to deliver prudent advice and instill clients’, prospects’, and professionals’ trust and confidence Strong organizational skills with a disciplined and organized approach in work and self-management Strong understanding of financial services industry and investment advisory regulations Strong understanding of many aspects of Wealth Management including mutual funds, money manager programs, insurance, annuities, estate planning, etc. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee will regularly be required to sit, stand, reach, walk, drive, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
