We are collecting resumes now and will contact qualified candidates to discuss potential opportunities upon contract award.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\n\nThe Salesforce Developer builds and maintains solutions for a Salesforce Center of Innovation. You will take enhancement requests and defects from analysis through design, build, test, and deployment, working independently on most assignments and partnering with senior developers on the largest changes.\n\nYou will also help keep a large enterprise org healthy by isolating root causes on difficult defects across code, configuration, and integrations.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\nBuild\n\nConfigure and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative configuration.\nBuild and maintain integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs and platform events.\nImplement changes to the data model, including objects, fields, relationships, and sharing and permission structures.\n\nDesign and Quality\n\nAnalyze enhancement requests and defects, then implement, test, document, and deploy through approved DevSecOps processes.\nWrite and maintain unit tests and follow Salesforce best practices around governor limits, security, and maintainability.\nMove work through source control and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Salesforce CLI, and scratch orgs.\nWork across sandbox environments and support release readiness through Salesforce's three annual releases.\n\nSolve\n\nTroubleshoot application, configuration, access, integration, and code issues and document findings for the application teams.\nIsolate root causes on complex defects and write root cause analysis for critical issues, including the corrective and preventive actions.\nEscalate to Salesforce Support when a platform issue needs to be pushed upstream.\n\nCollaborate\n\nPartner with product owners, administrators, and security teams in an Agile delivery cadence.\nContribute to code reviews and share knowledge with junior developers.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n5 years of relevant technical experience, including hands-on Salesforce development.\nSalesforce Certified Administrator.\nSalesforce Certified Platform Developer I.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a government background investigation.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nSalesforce Certified Platform Developer II.\nSalesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.\nExperience with Salesforce Government Cloud or other FedRAMP environments.\nWorking familiarity with Salesforce CLI, VS Code with Salesforce extensions, Developer Console, and scratch orgs.\nGitLab and DevSecOps pipeline experience.\nServiceNow or a comparable IT service management platform, plus Jira and Confluence.\nPrior federal or public sector delivery experience.\n\nPERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS\n\nThe team operates against contract service levels for acknowledgement, resolution, root cause analysis, and security incident response. Specific targets are reviewed during onboarding.\n\nWORK LOCATION\n\nPrimarily remote within the contiguous United States.
