The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify and log product issues based on execution of test cases and industry standard testing methodologies. Additionally, STE III will design and create test cases to ensure complete coverage of test plans while also maintaining and updating automated test scripts to ensure they remain accurate, relevant, and effective. While having excellent automation skills, the candidate will have excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills and willingness to participate in manual testing regularly.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nResponsible for identifying and investigating issues found during testing, and updating test cases based on discovered defects\nWorks closely with software developers and software test engineers to resolve issues\nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing\nParticipate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents\nDefine Test Strategy and End to End Scenarios\nUnderstands key daily reporting elements needed for stakeholders and partners\nParticipate on continuous improvement efforts within the QA organization & Research and evaluate new testing technologies and tools\nOther relevant tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned\nKey Performance Indicators:\n\nCommunication of critical issues and status updates\nThe Ability to identify and log product issues\nThe Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts\nThe ability to create, update and execute test cases\nThe ability to maintain work flow velocities and meet deadlines\nKeeping to date with industry trends and emerging testing technologies\nAdditional Expectations:\n\nEmployees are expected to model CompTIA's values and reflect them in how they work and collaborate.\nParticipate in required and role relevant training to maintain skills, ensure compliance, and support ongoing professional development.\nMay be required to travel based on role responsibilities and business needs.\nPlease note that this job description is not intended to provide an exhaustive listing of tasks, activities, or responsibilities required of the employee in this role.
