This flexible role requires 3-12 hours per week and offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in carbon markets and climate science to evaluate the integrity of carbon credit projects across diverse technologies and methodologies.\r\nAs an Integrity Bench contractor, you'll conduct in-depth technical reviews of carbon projects submitted to the Patch platform.\r\nWhat you'll tackle\r\nReview project documentation including Project Design Documents (PDDs), monitoring reports, verification reports, methodology documents, and supporting technical materials\r\nAssess projects against Patch's Project Acceptance Criteria , which includes:\r\nBaseline criteria : Evaluating additionality, permanence/durability, real and verifiable impact, attribution, leakage, and compliance with ICVCM Core Carbon Principles\r\nTech-specific criteria : Applying over 200 project-specific variables tailored to each technology pathway (e.g., forestry, biochar, direct air capture, enhanced rock weathering, etc.)\r\nGenerate Standard Due Diligence packs for projects that pass the integrity review.
