This individual will play a key role in assisting with travel coordination for personnel and supporting the development of program deliverables. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions)\n\nTravel Coordination:\n\nManage and coordinate travel logistics and authorizations for program personnel, including flight bookings, lodging, transportation, and visa requirements.\nWork closely with the program team to ensure timely and cost-effective travel arrangements.\nEnsure compliance with all travel policies and regulations.\nCollect travel documentation from travelers and ensure compliance for expense reporting.\n\nProgram Deliverable Development:\n\nAssist in the creation and maintenance of program deliverables, including reports, presentations, and proposals.\nCollaborate with program managers to ensure deliverables meet contract requirements and deadlines.\nSupport tracking of program milestones and deliverables to ensure alignment with project timelines.\n\nGeneral Administrative Support:\n\nCoordinate meetings, briefings, and other program-related events.\nMaintain program documentation, including travel records, meeting minutes, and status reports.\nAssist with resource management, including tracking equipment, supplies, and personnel requirements and expense reports.\nFluency in English (written and spoken)\nActive Secret Security Clearance with the US Government\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor’s degree in business administration, Program Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience.)\n\nRequired Skills, Experience & Abilities\n\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, preferably in government contracting (DoS or similar contracts a plus).\nDemonstrated strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize competing tasks.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and Adobe applications.\nPrior experience coordinating travel and working with government travel regulations.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nProven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail with a demonstrated record of accuracy in completing tasks\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with DoS contract or other government contracts\n\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\n\nThe physical demands and work environment described are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nAbility to work at a computer for extended amounts of time\nProfessional office environment with standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers).\nSome travel may be required for program support (less than 10%)\nWork Schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.\nThis is an onsite position in Sterling, VA. At times the employee may visit and/or work out of an office in Gainesville, VA.\n\nCompensation:\nThis is a Salary Non-Exempt role.
