We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.*\n\n_*Position Overview*_: The Referral Coordinator will assist patients in obtaining authorizations for and scheduling of needed specialist referrals.\n\n_*Qualifications*_:\n\n· Experience in a medical office assisting patients with referrals.\n\n· Knowledge of medical terminology.\n\n· Experience with EHR systems.\n\n· Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus\n\n· Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.\n\n· Strong written and verbal communication skills.\n\n· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.\n\n_*Responsibilities*_:\n\n· Assist patients in obtaining authorizations for, tracking, and documenting referral submissions.\n\n· Assist patients in scheduling specialist referral appointments.\n\n· Assist patients with questions regarding pending referrals.\n\n· Ensure all documentation regarding referrals is uploaded into the EHR system in a timely manner.\n\n_*Benefits*_:\n\n· $23/hour.\n\n· Generous incentive compensation plan.\n\n· Health insurance.\n\n· Health expense reimbursement up to $1000/year.\n\n· 401K.\n\n· 401K match\n\n· PTO.\n\n· Holiday pay.\n\n· Life insurance.\n\n_*About The ROADS Foundation*_\n\nROADS Community Clinic – Compton was the first federally qualified health center in South Los Angeles to provide a full continuum of integrated services, including medical, behavioral health, and dental services.
