This is an opportunity for a talented graduate to build real-world data systems and grow quickly in a fast-paced high-performance startup environment.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nBuild and maintain data pipelines and data products and solutions using Python, SQL and modern cloud data platforms and technologies\nDevelop, test and troubleshoot data ingestion, transformations and workflows\nApply software engineering practices including Git, testing, and CI/CD\nLeverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development and testing productivity\nCollaborate with experienced engineers, take ownership, adapt and learn quickly and deliver solutions that directly support our data and other stakeholders\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n0-2 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering\nBachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Data Science or a related technical field\nExcellent Python programming skills and a reasonable knowledge of SQL\nStrong software engineering and problem-solving skills and one who is curious, takes the initiative and a quick learner\nWilling to embrace the pace, ambiguity and challenges of a startup environment\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nHas completed one or more internships, research or created projects in software or data engineering\nExposure or a decent understanding of Cloud Data Platforms\nExposure/Experience building with Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka or similar technologies\nExperience using AI-enabled development tools and technologies\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\nThis is a hands-on entry-level data engineering role.
