Youth Development Professional- Mulberry Unit

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Development Professional to join our Mulberry team. As a Youth Development Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people through various activities and programs. Responsibilities: - Plan and implement engaging and educational activities for youth - Provide guidance and support to students in their personal and academic growth - Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants - Teach sports skills and coach youth in various sports activities - Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment - Assist with homework help and tutoring as needed - Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement program goals -Show up and have reliable transportation -Manage groups of members ranging from 10 to 20 Experience: - Previous experience working with students in a formal or informal setting - Familiarity with first aid procedures and ability to respond to medical emergencies - Experience working with children with special needs or in special education settings is a plus - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to implement engaging activities - Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or daycare is beneficial.
