This role designs, builds, configures, and maintains secure and reliable data pipelines, data structures, and integration workflows that enable analytics, reporting, and operational insight across IHSC's clinical, operational, and administrative domains.All development, configuration, and implementation activities performed by this role are conducted within authorized Government-managed platforms and environments, subject to Government oversight, direction, and approval, with written authorization required prior to deployment to production environmentsThis position follows a remote delivery model supporting IHSC/HITU, consistent with current program operations.Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (Remote)Clearance: Public Trust - Preliminary and Complete Fitness Determination RequiredEmployment Type: Full-TimeStatus: Contingent Upon Contract AwardMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field• Minimum 5 years of data engineering experience, including at least 2 years in federal health IT or healthcare data management• Advanced experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows• Proficiency with Python and cloud-based analytics/data platforms (AWS, Azure)• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsRequirementsPreferred Qualifications• Prior experience with DHA, VA, or HHS data environments• Cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer)• Experience with canonical data modeling, semantic normalization, and metadata cataloging for large-scale federal health repositories• Experience collaborating with Data Strategists, Data Analysts, and Solutions Developers in a federal environmentKey Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, validate, and store data from multiple internal and external systems• Support enterprise analytics platforms by optimizing data models, schemas, and performance for reporting and dashboarding• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality control processes• Support integration of healthcare, operational, and administrative data sources in alignment with enterprise data strategy• Collaborate with Data Strategists, Data Analysts, and Solutions Developers to enable analytics use cases• Maintain documentation for data architectures, pipelines, transformations, and dependencies• Support data governance initiatives, including metadata management, auditability, and lineage tracking• Ensure data solutions comply with federal security, privacy, and compliance requirementsBenefits:At Red Pulley Technology Solutions, we invest in our people so they can deliver exceptional results in support of critical missions.
