What You'll Need Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Active Montana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC/compact) license required to start the assignment Current BLS certification required Current ACLS certification required Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required Experience with vascular and electrophysiology procedures preferred Experience with Philips Xray/Xper Hemo imaging equipment and Meditech EMR preferred Proficient English language oral and written communication skills Minimum Requirements - Client Specific MT or Compact nursing license required. ACLS and BLS required. Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience. Experience or willingness to support Vascular and EP procedures as service line expands. Familiarity with Philips Xray/Xper Hemo systems and Meditech EMR preferred. Flexible availability to cover varied shifts, weekends, and call responsibilities. Call frequency approximately 10-12 days per month. What You'll Do Provide peri-procedural nursing care in a 2-room Cath/IR/EP/Vascular Lab performing approximately 9 cases per day. Ensure proper performance and maintenance of cath lab equipment and supplies. Assess patient needs and promote a safe surgical environment while circulating and scrubbing for procedures. Support procedures including left and right heart cath/PCI, PM/ICD implants, structural heart, TEE/CV, and various IR procedures such as ports, PICCs, peripheral interventions, ESI, nephrostomy, and G-tubes. Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesia, cath lab manager, and multidisciplinary team members. Document care accurately and timely according to facility standards. Demonstrate flexibility to meet unit needs and participate in a three-person call team with mixed scrubs and nurses.
